Cookie Policy

1. What we store in your browser

The Platform uses your browser's local storage and session storage, not cookies, for:

• Signing in — tokens that keep you logged in, and your email address if you ask the sign-in form to remember it. These are needed for the Platform to work.
• Your settings — for example screener filters and columns, saved selections, chosen benchmarks, news region and other display choices.
• Visit counting — a random visitor identifier (equi_vid) and the current visit's identifier (equi_visit), so that our own analytics can tell visits and returning visitors apart (see the Privacy Policy, "Visit and usage records"). With a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the visitor identifier is kept for that visit only.
• This visit only — items kept in session storage, such as the "As of" date you picked, the chat you have open and the help assistant's conversation. They are cleared when you close the tab.

Our own servers do not set cookies when you use the Platform.

2. Third-party services

• Google Sign-In — pages load Google's sign-in script so you can log in with a Google account. Google may set or read its own cookies under its privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — the fonts are fetched from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request.

We do not use advertising or social-media tracking, or any third-party analytics service.

3. Your choices

You can clear or block site data in your browser settings at any time. Clearing it signs you out and resets your settings; blocking it stops you from staying signed in.

This page is updated when what the Platform stores changes.
